When Chelsea Wakes Up

Our sweet Chelsea is currently fighting an undiagnosed severe lung disorder that started with pneumonia.  She has been in a medically induced coma for a week now, in the intensive care unit at the University of Iowa Hospital. 

The purpose of this fundraiser is only to help Chelsea pay her regular bills (rent, utilities and such.) Chelsea has a good job, and supports herself well. We are going on two weeks now where she has been unable work because of a fluke illness that came out of nowhere. 

On 8/8 Chelsea was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. By Sunday she was transferred to the intensive care unit in severe respiratory distress. On Wednesday she was transferred by air to Iowa City. She is doing better day by day, We are hoping and praying to be off the vent and out of the coma by the end of this week. As of today, 8/18, there is no estimate as to when she will be well enough to even leave the hospital, let alone go back to work.
