As many of you know, my brother Lonnie, had a very devastating diving accident almost 28yrs ago leaving him a quadriplegic. Many of you know Lonnie but for those of you who don't....Lonnie Young is a 53yr old resident of Stephenville, NL. Lonnie’s life has had many challenges and obstacles over these years and among those challenges has been transportation. Lonnie currently has a 24yr old van that he purchased 10yrs ago (not paid off yet) as well as a used wheelchair lift and this vehicles life has expired and it's time for some new wheels! Lonnie lives on a fixed income which doesn't cover mobility at this level so we have decided to fundraise to hopefully alleviate Lonnie of this stress.
