I was out seeing clients and saw a 50 year old man walking down Buffalo Gap Rd in Abilene, Tx with a sign that said he needed a ride home to Buffalo Gap. I turned around, picked him up and drove him all the way home. He works at McDonalds by the Mall and last Fall a drunk driver totaled his car. No Insurance. Eddie walks or rides his bike from Buffalo Gap to the Mall 5-6 days a week. That is 24 miles each way. He stops when he gets tired and some people give him rides. He is slowly saving money to buy another car. Eddie works at McDonalds and turns 51 on June 16th.  For someone with this amount of dedication to do whatever it takes to keep on keeping on, he deserves a nice Birthday Present....a car.
