These are a few pictures of our best friend Desi.  She is a sweet, funny, unique, eighteen year old girl who has cerebral palsy.  Her family is currently using a 14 year old van that is not adapted for someone in a wheelchair. Her parents have a daily struggle to break down her wheelchair and physically lift her in and out of the van. Because her van cannot accommodate her power wheelchair, she must leave it at school. Anywhere else she goes, she must be pushed around in her manual wheelchair, so she is unable to move independently in public.  Her freedom is limited by her circumstances. The Lord awakened the deep desire to transform Desi’s present situation to Alyssa White and Faith McGilvray. We believe that this change would free Desi to her next chapter in life, as well her parents, who selflessly and tirelessly give to Desi.  Our goal is to raise $30,000 to purchase a new van, as well as install the wheelchair conversion. These funds will go directly to Glenda Pacheco, Desi's mom, to purchase the vehicle.
