Am supporting my friend Jai Bharathi (JB),an avid motorcyclist & traveller for her upcoming Motorcycle tour across USA - Wheels of Will. I am impressed by how her passion led her to a purpose.
She led several expeditions to Ladakh, Kanyakumari to Kashmir in India, cross-country expedition across south east asian nations covering 17000 kms & most recently Bathukamma Ride covering 1200kms in Telangana promoting women safety & tourism. Her efforts in the field of motorcycling have been appreciated by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Sri Narendra Modi & Hon’ble Chief Minister of Telangana, Sri.K.Chandrasekhar Rao.
Over the last decade, she worked with several NGO’s in the fields of women empowerment, children education, solar lighting & relief works during natural calamities. Her passion for two wheels and inclination towards society has triggered the thought of empowering women using mobility as a tool for women empowerment and employment under 'MOWO Social Initiatives Foundation'. Some of the women trained by MOWO are employed by Ubereats in India. You can visit https://www.mowo.in/
for more details.
In all her journeys, she has marked her journeys through UNESCO heritage sites and she is planning to do the same in USA. The funds raised will be used for road expenses for 11000 miles. The additional funds will be donated to MOWO.
