Kody “Wheels” McSparen is a good friend of mine, he is hardworking and humble. The latter being proven by him not wanting to reach out and ask for help when he needs it.

Unfortunately, Fourth of July weekend 2024, Wheels was out riding with friends at Vandyz when a “friend’s” son ran over his wheelchair that was placed up against our truck (so something like this WOULDN’T happen, as it was out of the way of any parking lot traffic and in OUR pits)

Initially we thought everything would be handled smoothly, with his “friend” taking responsibility for his son running over and destroying Wheels’ only means of mobility. Wheels only asked for the deposit for a new chair, and his “friend” agreed.

That was until the medical provider sent the bill and he denied it. Wheels had to rebuild his wheelchair with what shambles were left, bent hardware, snapped handles, and wheels that don’t fully lock into place.

I am making this gofundme as a way of helping my friend and trying to make someone else’s wrong just a little more right.

A new chair for Wheels will cost him over 9500 dollars, our goal is 10,000. Anything helps, as he has been in and out of hospital and not in the position to pay for a new one.
