Wheels For Skye

Most of you know my sister Skye. She is the type of person that will do anything for you, no matter what. She puts her family, friends, and others first and before her own happiness. Over the years I have watched as she adjusted her life living with Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy rapidly progress. First it was basketball. She had such a huge love for basketball and at 18, she could no longer play. Then it was the "easy" daily things like putting her hair up or washing it. Her walking soon followed and now she is 90% wheelchair bound. She started her own mini business to help her save enough money to buy herself an electrical wheelchair. I watch her now still try to live life to the fullest even though she is very restricted. When you look into Skye's eyes, you can see the amount of life, knowledge, and will power inside of her. She doesn't let her Muscular Dystrophy hold her back. Skye is definitely my role model and I want nothing more than to help her. So I have started this "Go Fund Me" page to help her get a wheelchair accessible car. With a car that allows her to transport herself with her wheelchair is the ultimate goal. So she can go to the grocery store, go to the doctors when she's sick, and she can get a job which she so strongly wants. So lets come together as a community and help Skye accomplish her dreams.
