Wheels for Health and Learning: A Fundraiser for our Family

Hi my name is Christal.I am reaching out to share a personal and urgent situation that my family and I are currently facing.I have been diagnosed with cancer stage 3a dedifferentiated endometrial carcinoma on active therapy aggressive disease month after I undergone a total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy which has dramatically changed our daily lives and routines. My husband is currently taking care of me, and as such, both of us are currently out of work.

In addition to the challenges posed by my health, we are also facing a significant transportation issue. Our only car recently broke down, and after consulting with a mechanic, we learned that the cost to repair it is prohibitively expensive due to its age and condition. As a family, we have decided that it would be more practical to invest in a used car that can serve our needs, especially for emergencies and for dropping off and picking up our daughter from school.

The burden of my illness, coupled with our lack of income, has made it extremely difficult to gather the funds necessary for a reliable used car. This is why I am humbly reaching out for support through a fundraising campaign.

We are setting a goal of $3,000 cad to help us secure a dependable vehicle that can assist us during this challenging time. Your generosity would not only provide us with transportation but also peace of mind knowing that we have a reliable means to access medical care and ensure our daughter’s school needs are met.
