Wheels for Fizzgig!

Fizzgig, our educational ambassador opossum, is nearly 3 years old. For opossums, this is like being over 80yo! Recently he has been struggling to walk. Trips to the vet for x-rays have revealed that he has a congenital bone defect that affects his hips. So, like many grandpas his age, Fizzgig is in need of a walker to help him get around. That is why we are starting this GoFundMe - to create a geriatric support fund to help Fizzgig during this golden era of his life. Your donation would go towards the cost of a custom wheelchair, as well as vet bill expenses for his frequent checkups.

The Yggdrasil Urban Wildlife Rescue (YUWR) and Education Center is an all-volunteer-run, grassroots non-profit 501(c)(3) organization serving the San Francisco Bay Area in California. We rehabilitate orphaned wildlife with the purpose of releasing them back into the wild, giving them a second chance at a normal life. Through education we raise awareness of these wild residents of our cities in the hope that a better co-habitation will lead to less injuries/orphans and more enjoyment of our urban wildlife.
