Dear Friends, Family, and Community,
We are reaching out to our community with an important request—to help raise funds for a wheelchair-accessible van for a remarkable local child, Christian. Many of you know the Loves, a family with deep roots in Whitefish. For those who may not be familiar with Christian’s story, we’d love to share a little about this incredible young boy.
Christian, a twin, was born prematurely with a brain abnormality similar to cerebral palsy. As a result, he faces a variety of challenges, including being nonverbal, experiencing epilepsy, and requiring full-time care. But despite these obstacles, Christian is full of joy, lighting up whenever he’s on an adventure or surrounded by the people he loves.
Right now, Christian’s family’s vehicle isn’t equipped to transport him safely, and as he grows, lifting him in and out has become increasingly complex and unsafe for both him and his caregivers. This has made it harder for Christian to participate in the activities he loves and to stay connected with his community. Having the right vehicle isn’t just about transportation—it’s about inclusion, independence, and ensuring Christian continues to experience the world around him.
A wheelchair-accessible van with a ramp and secure tie-downs would be life-changing, giving Christian the freedom to safely and comfortably engage in daily life. However, the financial commitment to make this possible is significant, and that’s where we hope you can help.
Your generosity—no matter the size—will make a meaningful impact, giving Christian the ability to be part of his community and improving his overall quality of life. With your support, we can ensure that Christian continues sharing the adventures, connections, and joy that make him light up.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity and for being part of Christian’s journey.
