We SURPASSED our goal within an HOUR of this campaign going live. I have chosen to up our campaign goal so that the remaining funds can go toward quality shower bars, a better quality toilet stool, etc. We are so deeply appreciative & feel so incredibly loved.

Hi friends & fam. My name is Lindsy Posz and I’m reaching out with a full heart (and a little bit of nerves). Asking for financial help isn’t easy for anyone, but we are realizing sometimes you have to lean on your village.

Henry was diagnosed with Emery-Dreifuss Muscular Dystrophy when he was just 2 years old. Over the years, he’s shown so much strength, but as he grows, so do his needs. Right now, he uses a basic manual wheelchair, but it’s getting harder for him to get around on his own.

Auburn found a motorized wheelchair that would give him the freedom and independence he deserves, but unfortunately insurance won’t cover it. The chair costs $2,400. They put down $1,300 last week, and we’re asking for help to cover the remaining balance (and maybe an extra battery)!

This chair would make a huge difference! It’s designed to support kids like Henry who have muscle weakness, giving him the ability to move more freely without relying on others to push him.
