As some of you may know Dr. Evan Wheeler, his wife Sheri, and two of his grandkids were in a plane accident Thursday, July 1. Evan, Sheri, and one of the grandkids were medevacked to Harbor View Medical center and admitted into the ICU with 2nd and 3rd-degree burns. Evan and Sheri have been released from ICU and are now admitted to the burn unit where they will be staying for the next few weeks. Sheri is scheduled to undergo her first skin grafting surgery in the next few days and will be evaluated 3-5 days after to determine the extent of her next skin grafting surgery. Evan will be scheduled shortly after Sheris. Post-surgery they will have to remain in Seattle for follow-up protocols. We have started a Go Fund Me for those who have asked to donate to the hospital/travel/post-op expenses for Evan and Sheri while in Seattle for the next few weeks and while they enter their road to recovery when they finally get home.
