Meet Bentley McGuigan— or “Ben” as we call him. He’s a bright, loving 7-year-old who faces life’s challenges with incredible courage and a smile that melts hearts. Bentley is bound to a wheelchair and is non-verbal, relying on his family, mainly his mom, Rosie, for all of his daily needs. From getting around the house to traveling to important appointments and therapies.

Right now, transportation is one of Rosie & Ben’s biggest struggles. As Bentley grows, it’s become too difficult and unsafe for his mom to lift him in and out of their vehicle.

Without a wheelchair-accessible van, even simple outings and vital medical visits are exhausting and somewhat dangerous, as Rosie is now struggling to lift Ben.

Your help would be life-changing for Ben and his family — allowing him to travel to appointments in Halifax safely and comfortably, giving his mom peace of mind, and opening up opportunities for him to enjoy more of the world outside their home.
