Wheelchair1derWoman Needs a Power Wheelchair

I wanted to start off by saying Thank You to everyone that has helped me get this far in creating a new life for myself and my children.
For anyone who is new, earlier this year I was facing the very grave reality of becoming critically ill from a lack of personal care support. We were living in an area that lacked proper infrastructure for supporting disability services.
Thankfully, with the help of a GoFundMe campaign, my kids and I have relocated to an area that's much safer and provides the services we need.
My next hurdle is that I don't have a mobility device that meets my needs. As a quadriplegic, a manual chair is nearly impossible for me to operate independently out in the community. Our local food bank has a waiting list for delivery services and the only option is visiting in person - which I can't do without getting a power wheelchair.
The government covers 75% of the wheelchair, leaving me with an outstanding balance of $8332.
I also have zero government assistance with my medical supplies or medication. Anything extra raised above the $8332, will be used to help cover those costs.
