Wheelchair Ramp for Paul LeClair

Donation protected
Paul & Gillian finally fulfilled their dream and moved out to Nova Scotia to retire in November of 2019 after living in Ontario for their entire lives. After moving into their dream home, Paul had a terrible fall down the stairs after only living in the home for a few months.  This was a life altering event which left him in the hospital for 8 months and has left him with limited mobility.  While he was in the hospital, Gillian was busy at their home having major renovations done to accommodate Paul's new living requirements.  They have now spent over $35,000 adding a small addition and putting in a walk in shower and have now exhausted their savings on all of these unexpecting expenses just so he is able to get around on the main floor.  If you have ever met Paul you will know that he is a very proud person and would never ask for a hand out from anyone, this is why we are reaching out to all of our friends, family, and anyone who has gone through a similar situation and understands the struggle that Paul & Gillian have gone through and continue to try and adapt to moving forward.  Paul has regained some movement in his arms and hands and is able to get around with the help of a wheelchair but his life will never be the same after this fall.  If you are interested in making any type of donation, 100% will go towards building a wheelchair ramp so he can get in and out of his home.  Paul is a fighter and has continued to push himself everyday, he has been lucky enough to have the support of Gillian and all of the other healthcare workers to motivate him to keep pushing himself.  Paul has been trying to help pay the bills by continuing to paint which is his passion.  We have all gone through things in our lives that are unexpected and sometimes we just need a bit of help.  Thank you in advance taking the time to read this story and thank you for considering making a donation.
