Wheelchair ramp for Brett
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Hannah. I'm Brett's fiance. I'm Brett's full time care giver as of now & had to cut my hours back drastically at work to accommodate to Bretts needs/care. Brett was recently hospitalized from Nov 26th-Feb 14th. He was at West Penn then got transfered to Cleveland Clinic due to having a mystery diagnosis with his feet & fingers. They're still not certain if it's Calciphylaxis or APLS (autoimmune disease) causing this to happen. Brett's right foot is completely dead. He will be getting it amputated within the next few months. And his left foot has 3 toes that are bad. Both his middle fingers are black. He's in agonizing pain daily. Nothing takes the pain away since it's dead tissue still attached to his body. He is wheelchair bound & cannot walk. Brett is a type 1 diabetic with end stage renal disease (end stage kidney failure). He goes to dialysis 3 days a week so having a handicap ramp is necessary to safely get him in and out of our home. He also has some in person doctor visits as well. This is our biggest barrier with handicap accessibility at our house. We just want to get Brett in and out safely. Anything helps. Even if it's just a share. Thank you in advanced.
God bless,
Hannah
