Hi my name is Jason and I am fundraising for my Mother, Betty McKenzie. Betty has had dramatic health challenges recently. It has all led to her being about 90 percent bound to a wheelchair. Betty desires to continue to live at her house, however she is in need of a wheelchair ramp to be purchased so she can leave her house and get back inside. Betty loves car rides with family to see the wildlife in the Cowichan Valley. She also loves going to Church on Sundays and has been separated from that since returning home. She tried to step into her house recently and had a fall. It was suggested that she doesn't leave her house until a ramp has been built. It has also been suggested her health is rapidly failing her and that she may not have much time left. This has taken an emotional toll on her. The things she loves to do have been put on hold until the ramp is pit in place.We want Mom to enjoy her last days and take many trips for Timmy's, wildlife viewing and Church . She is elderly and on a low income. The funds will go directly to paying off the ramp we plan to install for our Mother. If you can help her financially it would be greatly appreciated.
