Wheelchair Van for Sharif

Have you ever met someone who is a ray of sunshine? A person who uplifts your day no matter how bad it may seem? Sharif is that sunshine.

Sharif's family works hard to provide him with the resources he needs to be as independent as possible. Recently a local family has offered Sharif a motorized wheelchair that will allow him to explore nature and be able to go places he has never been able to go before. The problem is the wheelchair is extremely heavy and can't be transported without a special vehicle or lift. That's where your help comes in.

Our goal is to help Sharif's famliy purchase a vehicle (van) that will allow them to take Sharif wherever he needs to go. This will give them the ability to not only get Sharif to his medical appointments at places like Shands, but also allow them to travel as a family (which is something they currently are unable to do because they don't have the vehicle they need to do so.) Just as important, it will give Sharif the ability to get out in the community and do more than he is currently about to do because it's hard for him to push himself across grass and other terrain.
