I’m not a huge fan of asking for help, but this is something I’m willing to set my pride aside for. Joshua Carney is a friend of mine. This young man has brought something to my life that I needed! Humility - See he is confined to wheelchair after a tragic hunting accident years ago. We met in the gym, but I knew him by his popularity in the outdoor industry! What’s amazing about Joshua is that he doesn’t let his circumstances stop him from living life to the fullest.
After a short visit last week, he told me he’d had a rough day! His wheelchair had two flat tires and caused him to be a day late on a speaking engagement. This is how he earns most of his living, tell others about his story. He encourages other to press forward, no matter what! His chair also has a bent frame, and insurance will not cover replacement until late 2019. This has been weighing on my mind. I couldn’t stop thinking about how this young man inspires me and so many others.
So, I’m putting up $500 & creataed this Fundraiser because I want him to feel a little less stress in his day to day life. Anything you feel led to give will be greatly appreciated, and I know first hand that what we give comes back to us over and over.
