Wheelchair for Joe

Hello all.
I'm reaching out to you because I've finally started a GoFundMe, with a hope to provide my good friend Joe, a multi purpose, multifunctional wheelchair to meet his day to day needs. Unfortunately, in April 2020, Joe was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer which caused complete paralysis of his lower body. After a long journey of various treatments, he has reached a point where he feels able to move on with his new life. Having a young family and adapting his home has meant the purchase of a specialist wheelchair isn’t an option, hence this plea!! At present, the wheelchair provided to him doesn’t allow him the independence he needs, and he still requires a chaperone to accompany him. We have highlighted a custom wheelchair that will offer safety and security to his spinal injury needs, whilst giving him back that much needed independence. Ultimately allowing him and his family to enjoy days away from home rather than being confined to the security that home offers.
