My name is James, I am a 17yr old wheelchair fencer

and my dream is to be a future Paralympian Wheelchair Fencer and hopefully compete in LA28 and at Brisbane 32

To start that journey I aim to compete at the Para Fencing u17/u23s World Championships in Turkiye: June 2026

In order to participate at international events, i need a new international competition wheelchair, (£5k) new FIE fencing equipment and help with funding for transport /travel costs. (£2.5k)

I have recently won three domestic senior competitions, Gold at the Wales Open, Gold at the Scottish Open in Dec2024 and recently won a Gold at the British Championships 2025. I hope to build on this success for the upcoming u17/u23s World Championships 2026

Any donation or contribution big or small would enable me to start my Paralympian journey. I hope to attend a number of European events this year in preparation for World Championships including competitions in France, Italy and Hungary and will keep my progress posted here.
