NEVER STOP EXPLORING - Those three words are the reason I am asking for your help today. Since my climbing accident in 2016, I have refused to believe that I now cannot do the things which defined me as a person before suffering a spinal cord injury. In particular, I have refused to stop exploring the great outdoors.
This does come with its challenges, the main one being the sheer physical effort and energy it takes to cover uneven and tricky terrain. With your help I can make all of this so much easier, which will in turn help me to stay fit and healthy as I continue to develop a career in para-sport.
The BATEC Hybrid wheelchair attachment will not simply just make it easier to get outdoors, it will give me back the sense of freedom and total independence that I have missed.
