Hello,

A lot of you are familiar with Hayden and her story, but here is a refresher!

Hayden is the beautiful 9 ( almost 10) year old daughter of Ryan and Steph Suderman she was born with a rare condition called 1p36 Deletion Syndrome . At 6 weeks Hayden began having seizures and was diagnosed with epilepsy.
1p36 is a wide spectrum like many other disabilities. Unfortunately for Hayden, she’s never been able to walk. She’s globally delayed, battles seizures daily, is non verbal and g-tube fed. Despite many of these setbacks Hayden is the most loved, cuddly and joyful girl who loves school and her classmates!

The goal for this go fund me is to help raise funds for a wheelchair accessible van. As Hayden continues to grow, so do her needs.
Hayden is 60lbs and only a few inches shorter than mom. This is becoming a greater challenge daily to safely transfer her to and from the vehicle. She has also outgrown her car seat which would cost 8-10 thousand to replace and would only be a short term fix. Unfortunately, there is not a lot of government or non profit funding for these essential needs of hers.

Ryan’s and Steph have looked into modifying their van but to do so the van must be no less than 3 years old. This has become a much more narrow road than they anticipated
There is a local wheelchair accessible van for sale that would suit all of Hayden’s needs now and in the future they are hoping to purchase with your help. Over the last years they’ve been overwhelmed with the love, the prayers and the support you have already provided. This is a humbling experience to ask for the help but as parents and Haydens advocates they want to give her every opportunity to live the most “normal” life possible.
Hayden is the oldest of 3 kids and including her in every activity is a priority. They are hoping that with this van they’d be able to continue to go to Hayden’s conferences, family outings, go to and from appts and the daily drop off and pick up at school with ease and comfort.

Thank you for taking the time to read Hayden’s story and hopefully being part equipping the Suderman family with a van that will give them freedom to easily transfer Hayden!
