Wheel Chair For George(USHA Family)
Donation protected
On November 11th, George Bernal(USHA Family) was rushed to the hospital. Because he had no feeling in his legs, the initial thought was a stroke. After multiple tests, CAT scans and MRIs, he was diagnosed with a Staph Infection AND an abscess on his spinal cord. To clean out the abscess and to relieve the pressure from his spine, he had to undergo an emergency surgery. All of this was done within 24 hours of being in the hospital. The surgery went well, and even though George had no feelings or use of his legs, his spirits have never lowered. After 2 weeks of extreme treatment of antibiotic, George was released to an inpatient rehab facility. He spends 3 hours a day in rehab with hope and prayer that he feels his legs and can walk again. The rehab has been tough but so is GB. In the meantime, George needs a wheelchair. This wheelchair will help him get around better and would help him get back to work. If you can please help me help my friend George with WHATEVER you can give so we can get him this wheelchair. I know its Christmas and things can be tight around this time of the year. Whatever you can spare, please help George. Thank you in advance!!!!
