What's Wrong With Me?-The Musical

Hello! My name is Jess, I am the book and lyrics writer and director of What's Wrong With Me?-The Musical

Around 6 years ago when I was at University I came up with the idea for a musical, I'd never done anything like this and had no idea how to start. That's when I met Rosalyn, who co-wrote the show with me. After meeting up and lots (and lots) of Zoom writing sessions we managed to create a brand new, comedy musical that we are so proud of.

In 2022 we took the one hour version of the show to The Lion and Unicorn for a sell out run at The Camden Fringe. Now we are back with a 2 hour version of the show that we have taken to The Green Room Theatre with a lot of help from Dorking Dramatics and Operatics Society (DDOS.) With their help we have been able to create an excellent show, with an extremely talented cast and even orchestrations for a live band!

The next step for the show is taking it back to The Lion and Unicorn Theatre for a full week run from the 23rd-27th of July.

Our next step after this will be to take the show to The Edinburgh Fringe Festival! We think Edinburgh Fringe will be the perfect place for this show to thrive but we need help in order to get there. As you know making a show isn't cheap and love & passion will only get so far when it comes to paying for things. We need to help to cover our expenses while we are in Edinburgh for a month.

This show is such a big dream of mine and sharing it with other creatives, supporters and audience has been so incredible.
