What Happened to Westin?
Donation protected
Met Westin; a vivacious, healthy, 8-year-old Jack Russell mix. He likes to wiggle on the carpet, shred paper towel rolls, and go fishing.

Unfortunately, Westin had an altercation that left him in need of emergency medical care. With broken bones and a gaping jaw, Westin’s owners raced him to an Emergency Care Vet.
When their pet insurance was rejected, they were met with the harsh reality that, if no monetary compensation could be exchanged for services up front, they would be turned away without treatment, without options, without compassion.
Despite being in the throes of financial difficulties, the family unit banded together and managed to pool money to secure Westin’s admission to the emergency care facility but time was of the essence.Together with www.barkleyworld.com Westin's friends and family were able to raise the money for his surgery and get him the help he so desperately needed.
Thank you to all those who shared Westin's story and contributed to the outpouring of support and love that facilitated his treatment. Please remember to treat your fellow creatures with kindness. Big love from the Westin and the Pratts.

Dear Reader,
It is this humble writers opinion that the policies and actions of these veterinary facilities are atrocious. It is a sad state of affairs when an animal suffers over that which is contrived by man.
