What's Life Without Joy?
Donation protected
Joy was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in December 2017, just before the Christmas holiday. Rather than let this news destroy her, she fought with everything she had. During her remaining time, Joy was able to achieve her goals of not only getting their son who was diagnosed with autism to speak, but also she worked tirelessly to make sure that he can read and write. Joy also worked with their daughter, with the same goals in mind. She did all of this while managing to make sure that her oldest son Sean remained on the honor roll throughout his high school years. As the years passed, her condition worsened and the tumors began to grow, preventing her from being able to breathe properly. She was rushed to the hospital and placed on a respirator. Unfortunately, she passed on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the age of 37. Joy leaves behind her husband, Klaiton, and three children, Sean, Matthew, and Maia. Klaiton is now left with the task of raising their two small special needs children, ages 4 and 6, mounting debt and expenses to pay for special needs childcare, therapy, medical as well as living expenses. Please help this family to stay in their home and grieve without having to worry about mounting debt. All donations will go to the Parker family. Your donations are very much appreciated. Thank you.
