What else could possibly go wrong?!

I am a wedding photographer in NY, because of Covid-19 basically all of my work has been cancelled from March on. I have worked a few small events and shoots, but no where near enough to pay all my bills and still put food on the table. My husband and I have been struggling along these past few months, with hopes of a good fall full of weddings and events. This morning I was leaving to go to my doctor and I found my car had been broken into....my video camera bag with my back up camera along with batteries and lighting was gone as well as my most expensive lens a 70-200 canon lens which is my main lens for wedding ceremonies was GONE. With tears in my eyes I am devastated and embarrassed to ask for help, but I have no where else to turn to. My family and friends have already helped so much in this difficult time of Corona...and now I am lost at what to do. I just want to be able to replace my camera gear so I can continue to do the best job I can at each and every event. I hope one day I can pay this forward to someone else in need, but for right now, it's me.
