As Mady’s mom, I’ve had the privilege of watching her grow into someone who leads with compassion, strength, and purpose—and this year, she’s taking that to an extraordinary level. Mady is preparing to bike across Canada for 45 days in support of cancer research and those impacted by this disease, but she can’t do it alone. This journey is deeply personal for our family. As a breast cancer survivor myself, I know firsthand how life can change in an instant, and I’ve seen how that experience shaped the way Mady shows up for others. She also carries inspiration from her uncle, Sheldon Kennedy, whose resilience and advocacy have left a lasting mark on all of us. Through this ride, Mady is honoring those experiences and turning them into action—pushing through physical and mental challenges, while sharing her journey with a community of over 600,000 people. I’m incredibly proud of her, and I’m asking for your support. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps make a difference. If her story moves you, please consider being part of this journey and helping turn each mile into something meaningful.
Also look for the Netflix documentary of her entire journey to be released after she has completed her goal!
