This fundraiser is being led by Jenny Qiyuk, following a devastating fire in Whale Cove, Nunavut that destroyed the town's only grocery store, the Issatik Co-op.

This store fire is a huge loss for the community, as it was the only place to buy groceries, to buy hunting supplies, household goods, and the store also contained the town's post office.

Please donate to help the community respond to the fire. Proceeds will be donated either to the Hamlet or the Co-op to help with efforts to set up a temporary store, provide residents the food and supplies they need, or other related needs that will emerge as the damage is further understood.
