Meet my friend Monica Fonseca.
She is a vibrant young woman who was recently diagnosed with cervical cancer. It started with a test that came back with suspect results that quickly led to a follow up day procedure that uncovered that she has something nobody wants to hear in their life CANCER.
Monica is 40 years old, way too young for such a life altering experience.
Within 5 weeks, Monica's life has turned upside down. She is going through treatment with a mixture of Chemo and Radiation from Monday to Friday for weeks on end.
She is frequently in and out of the hospital during this pandemic which of course is not ideal.
As you can imagine, this has taken a toll on Monica both mentally and physically causing her to be unable to work.
I am starting this GoFundMe page in an effort to help Monica, Pauly and their kitty Lexi with the financial burden cancer brings.
For those of you who know Monica, she is kind, gentle and very loving. We met at Sun Life financial many years ago. She is hard working and always brought great ideas of innovation to the team! Fast forward years later and after both of us choosing different paths, we remain friends.
I ask that you consider giving to this cause if you can spare.
