We Thank You Tina McLaughlin

Tina McLaughlin is tough and courageous, and, for the past six years, she has battled cancer. Of course you may not know that because she is so “tough and courageous.” For most of those six years she continued to work, continued to direct plays; all the while, she continued to be the best daughter, wife, mom, grandmom, teacher, colleague, neighbor, and friend. Since February her battle has gotten more difficult. She has not been at work and has had several hospitalizations. She has gotten tougher and more courageous. She is amazing.

As you can imagine, a battle with cancer is a challenge for both patient and family. This is a challenge that serves as a call to action from all of us. The purpose of this page is to acknowledge Tina’s impact on your life and to show your love and appreciation in a way that can help her family through these difficult times. Are you a student who benefitted from her amazing skills as a teacher? Are you a former student who was expertly cast in the perfect part? Are you a parent who entrusted your child to her care? Are you a colleague who was supported by Tina’s wisdom and sense of humor? Are you a neighbor or friend who knew you could always count on Tina? Are you someone who has enjoyed her signature chocolate-covered pretzels?  Are you a friend of a friend of Tina’s who has heard of Tina’s strength and love?
