Help the Meadows Family
Donation protected
Hello- my name is Rebecca Boex (Hanson) and I am a friend of Alison Meadows. As many of you may already know, Alison and Nate and their sons Saxon and Fletcher lost their beautiful home and everything in it during the fires that devastated Louisville, CO on December 30, 2021. They left their home that day with nothing more than an overnight bag, as they did not expect the fires to reach their home. Needless to say, the devastation has been extensive in every capacity- from tangible items to priceless intangibles.
As the Meadows family is deeply loved by many people and in multiple different communities- from college to work environments to neighbors- many friends have been reaching out to the family and want to help in any way that they can, from donating clothing and housewares, to offering money and gift cards. As it will take time for them to figure out exactly what they need and how each thing will be replaced, the family has decided the most organized way to graciously accept the outpouring of love and support is to utilize a GoFundMe account.
Please consider donating any amount, big or small, to help the family during this horrifically challenging time. The emotional toll that this is taking on the family, especially the boys, is heartbreaking.
Currently, they are in a short-term furnished rental and hope to get into a one year rental within the next couple of months. Long-term plans are focused on rebuilding the house and getting back into their neighborhood, but clearly that is going to take time.
Thank you in advance to all those who are able to donate. The flood of support that has been offered to not only their family but the entire community affected by the fires has been deeply heartwarming.
