In need of a down payment for a car

On Thursday December 14th, my dad was fixing my car in his garage when somehow one of his cable cords sparked a fire. My father was unable to get my car out in time & it ended up burning up beyond repair. I only have liability insurance so the damage is not covered in my policy. With the weather being as cold as it is, it's been difficult finding transportation to & from work & having to depend on people to get me where is hectic but at the same time I can't expect people to drop what they're doing & come when I call.
