Obituary for SUSAN PINDER
1958-2025
Susan Pinder, (66) a dedicated volunteer and cherished family member, passed away on February 21, 2025, in Hampstead, Maryland. Born on July 3, 1958, in Maryland, she lived her life with an unwavering commitment to those around her, exemplified by her passionate work with the Northeast Social Action Program, where she consistently went above and beyond in her service to others.
Susan was known as a hard worker, always putting her family and friends first. She was deeply faithful to her loved ones, enriching their lives with her kindness and generosity. Her love for animals, especially squirrels, mirrored her gentle spirit, and she found joy in nurturing the world around her. She also had a knack for unraveling the threads of a good conspiracy, always chasing the hidden truths beneath the surface.
Above all, Susan's greatest pride were her two daughters, Michele Rodriguez (Greg) and Kelly Pinder, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. She treasured the time spent with her granddaughters, Baylee, Jayda, and Payton, enthusiastically cheering them on during dance performances and other activities.
She also leaves behind her brothers, Donald Rollyson (Jerry) and Richard Rollyson, and her sister, Sharon Kersey (Donald), who will carry her memory forward in their hearts.
Susan is preceded in death by her parents, Donald Rollyson, and Madge Sayre, as well as her beloved friend Dirk Barwick. Her legacy of love and dedication will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In the wake of Susan's sudden passing, we are deeply saddened and facing unexpected funeral costs. We want to give Susan the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. We are humbly asking for your support in covering the expenses of Susan's cremation and memorial service. Any contribution, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated.
