Whitney Massimini Recovery Fund
Donation protected
My name is Rachelle Hymas, and I've set up this donation account for my dear friend Whitney Massimini who could really use our help!
More than a month ago, Whitney started having some serious health concerns. She had numbness in her arm and leg, and weakness growing in other areas as well. She started having trouble with her fine motor skills, mixing up words, falling due to lack of strength, nausea, back pain, hand tremors and many more issues. She had an MRI, spinal tap, and many more costly tests. So far, the diagnosis is that she has an unidentified neurological disorder presenting on her right side causing partial paralysis AND radon/ pesticide poisoning. The doctors also found that her thyroid and adrenals were not functioning properly and several other imbalances due to the bigger issues.
To make matters even harder for this loving mother of six children, she lost her insurance a week before all this started happening to her body, and the medical bills are piling up. She has required multiple tests, treatments, iv's, medications and nutritional supplements. They are still searching for a diagnosis, and continuing tests brings ongoing bills now and the near future. Travel expenses will be hard as well on their family when they need to go to appointments in both Utah and Nevada to continue to aid in Whitney's recovery.
Whitney's greatest desire right now is only to get well again to be able to function and care for her family! All of these physical issues limit her ability to mother her six children. Her loving husband, Brian, is trying to help with Whitney's recovery, care for their children, and continue to go to work, but I can imagine how much exhaustion and financial worry they must be going through as well.
All of you who know Whitney, know what a hard worker she is and know the fighting spirit she has to get through her trials all with a smile on her face! She has been an example to us all of service and having a love of God. She has an amazing gift of befriending and loving all those who are around her, and I'm calling upon all of us to help her and her family at this time!! Anything you can do to help relieve the financial burden during this recovery would be greatly appreciated and forever remembered! Thank you!!!
