Ever since we adopted Sasha more than 2 years ago, she has been a happy and rumbustious bulldog and even better little sister to our lab Coco.  On January 14h my husband and I knew something wasn’t right with Sasha and after rushing her to vet, we found out she had to have emergency surgery to remove her spleen, which unexpectedly twisted on its own cutting the circulation to the organ.  We were lucky to get her to vet’s right on time and considering it was major surgery, she recuperated fairly well within a week, however, she has now developed a severe and very painful skin reaction, possibly to the medication she received.  Skin conditions can be extremely difficult to diagnose so we are hoping the new medication prescribed by our vet will help Sasha recuperate fully.   We have paid for all of these expenses out of our own pocket but the bills have stacked up to thousands more than we can afford now, while hoping Sasha doesn’t get any worse.  That’s why we are here telling our story.  No donation is too small.
