The Story
Hurricane Melissa has devastated Jamaica.
Homes have been destroyed, roads are blocked, and whole communities have been cut off from help. Families are struggling — and it’s the women, children, elderly, and disabled who are suffering the most.
Many are now without electricity, clean water, or shelter. Mothers are trying to feed their children with what little they have. Elderly neighbours are stranded. Rebuilding will take months — maybe longer — but they need our help now.
Who We Are
We are the Nao Step Warriors, a London-based walking community powered by NaoDietetics — founded by Naomi, a proud Jamaican daughter and UK dietitian passionate about community health and empowerment.
We walk every month for health, unity, and purpose.
This time, we’re walking 26 miles across London — from Thames Barrier Park (East London) to the Jamaican High Commission in South Kensington — in solidarity with everyone affected by Hurricane Melissa.
Every mile we walk represents hope, healing, and help for Jamaica.
Our Mission
We’re raising urgent funds to support relief and rebuilding efforts in Jamaica, focusing especially on:
Food and hygiene supplies for women and children
Medical and mobility aid for elderly and disabled residents
Materials and community rebuilding support
Funds will go to trusted local charities and grassroots organisations working directly on the ground to get aid where it’s needed most.

✊ Our Promise
Transparency matters. We’ll update supporters with photos, videos, and details of where funds go and how they help.
Every donation, every share, every step — you’re helping Jamaica rebuild.
Where Your Donations Are Going
We’re proud to be supporting a mix of trusted organisations to make sure your donations reach those who need it most:
White Ribbon Alliance UK (Charity No. 1143376) — a UK charity dedicated to improving the wellbeing and human rights of women, girls and non-binary people, and ending gender-based violence.
Local community partners in Jamaica — delivering emergency relief supplies such as:
Tarpaulins, nails and roofing tools
Food, bottled water, sanitary and cleaning products
Generators, torches, batteries and bedding
School books, stationery and basic medical kits
This balanced approach means your donation is doing double duty — providing immediate relief while also supporting long-term recovery and empowerment for women and families.
Let’s walk with purpose.
Let’s walk for Jamaica.
