My dream began when I was 23, full of ambition, and just starting out as an accountant.

I am from Gaza. I was working as an accountant for a private company in Gaza. I was also a trainer of an accounting program and had a dream of owning my own business one day. But in a tough job market like Gaza, opportunities were scarce. Still, I poured my heart and soul into my work, helping countless people with their projects and businesses. Along the way, I honed my skills and savoured the highs of professional success.

Then came the darkest day of my life in October, 2023 (because of the war on Gaza). My company was ravaged, and with it, my dreams crumbled before my eyes and I was displaced with the family in the south, enduring horror and difficulties. Everything I had worked for vanished in an instant.

Life has shown us how to work hard, be creative, and stay positive even when things are tough. Now, all I ask is to hold onto hope and keep trying to live, to keep our spirits alive. I can't do it alone. I need the soft hearts in the world to come together and help me to make a new start in a new place.

Now, I find myself reaching out for help to start a new life in a different place. I yearn to carve out a path in this world, not just for myself but for my small family too. I want nothing more than to provide my family with a brighter future, filled with hope and opportunity.

Every little helps in making a new opportunity for me.
