Hello! My name is Genesis Davis, a Film/Tv senior over at SCAD, and I am the writer and director of FREEDOM CALLING. My team and I have been developing this short film for a while, and we are raising money to help us create a story about freedom from one's past. We need your help in telling this important narrative and starting a conversation about personal liberty and how it is obtained.

 

THE STORY:

A young, anxious man yearns to be liberated from his crippling and traumatic past and must finally learn to overcome it to taste freedom.

DEVELOPMENT:

We are shooting on May 20-22, a three-day shoot. The script has undergone many revisions and is close to being finalized.  We plan to begin recruiting more crew members throughout the coming days. We have our locations and an armorer, which will be the height of the expenses. We will be working on revising previz materials, storyboards, shot lists, lookbooks, floorplans, and other essential logistics throughout. Overall, we will work on how to tell this story to the fullest potential and impact lives.
