Help Melissa beat cancer!

My name is Christopher Morales. Im creating this fundraiser for my sister, Melissa Morales. My sister was recently diagnosed with Myelofibrosis, a rare bone marrow cancer that affects the body’s ability to produce red blood cells causing other complications. Over the last couple of weeks, my sister has had multiple blood transfusions due to extremely low blood counts and was hospitalized for a week. She is being treated by a group of excellent doctors but her condition is pretty well advanced. The funds raised will be used towards seeking alternative treatments at different treatment centers to augment therapies that are being provided by her doctors. We intend to throw the kitchen sink at this disease. As of right now, there is no cure for it, but Myelofibrosis has never had to deal with Melissa Morales. She is the most resilient and strongest person I have ever known and she is ready to fight, fight for her life! There are many different treatment options aside from traditional therapies and that is going to be part of the plan. She is a mother to two sons and a beautiful person inside and out.
