From the age of 7 Aundraya has been twirling and competing in baton competitions from the local to the national level.
Her Mom and Dad have been her biggest supporters over the years. They are looking forward to traveling with Aundraya to England to cheer her on!
Aundraya realized at a young age that she loved twirling and it became an everyday passion for her.
She knew that this sport would be more fullfilling competing along side of teammates. She joined up with her first Baton Team Encore and they excelled in the local Mid Ohio Valley region. Together they became an unstoppable force of twirlers!

Aundraya knew she couldn't do this journey alone and kept competing with her teammates from Phoenix Twirlers.

"Draya is a very hard working girl. When she would put her mind into something she would be very determined to accomplish that goal. She is like a little sister to me. I like how, when we are in practice, we bounce ideas off of each other. She is over all one of my best friends and an amazing baton girl. I can't wait to see what she is going to accomplish next!" -Teammate Haylee Lemon
"She has been an asset to the team and is always willing to help out at practices and work with some of our newer members. With all of these awards comes long practices, lessons, road trips, and the usual "blood, sweat, and tears." I have seen her at her best and I have seen her at her worst. No athlete can achieve the level of greatness that this child strives for without the heart and dedication that she puts into this sport." -Coach Miranda Scott

"I will never forget the day I met a dark curly haired tiny 7 yr old girl named Aundraya Gorrell at my summer camp. So eager to learn. Shortly after the camp she started taking classes within the first few classes she had mastered the fundamentals. So I decided to start a solo routine for her to start working on, the next class to my surprise this kid was recalling the material in order....For the first 5 years she was the first one in the gym and the last one to leave..."
-Coach Brandice Harding

"I've had the pleasure of being Aundraya Gorrell's team coach with Phoenix Twirlers for the past year. Aundraya is one of the founding members of our team and has stepped up on numerous occasions when needed to assist with teaching new members the skills needed to join the team. Aundraya is a role model for the other members of our team, both old and new leading by example with her endless work ethic both in her individual twirling and with her team, while always striving to meet new challenges. She does all of this with the drive of a champion, yet with a giggle and a smile ... and an occasional joke or two that make all of those who get to know her come to adore her both as an athlete and a person. I am so proud of Aundraya for all of her accomplishments and even more, I am thrilled that her many talents have been recognized and earned her this opportunity to represent Team USA at the World Championships! Your donations and support mean so much in helping this deserving young athlete achieve her dreams and make this once in a lifetime experience become a reality!" -Coach Sherri Scott
Aundraya doesn't just throw the baton all day. She loves giving back to her wonderful and supportive Mid Ohio Valley community by doing food drives and volunteering in anyway she can.
Aundraya kept on day after day and made the sacrifices but never sacrificed her family, friends, and community that got her where she's at. She's made our entire community so proud and we can't wait for her to compete for Team USA against the best twirlers in the world!
Congrats Aundraya on becoming 2023 Pre-Teen Miss Majorette of West Virginia 2023! We're so excited to see you compete for Team USA!
