Eve is an incredible woman who is central to our queer community. She spends much of her time contemplating how to support those around her and putting it into practice, whether that’s sharing all the best discount codes for treatments, helping navigate tricky transitioning processes, offering a listening ear or just being willing and ready to always help out. Eve considers this support to be solidarity, not charity, which is why we’re launching the gofundme for her.

With waiting lists stretching up to a decade, it is not possible to delay the essential healthcare that she needs to live comfortably in her own skin. Anyone who knows Eve will have seen the impact of her receiving hormone treatment and understand just how important it is to be able to live life freely as herself. As you will likely know, trans women face disproportionate abuse and harassment to other members of society but instead of dwelling on the difficulties and barriers in place, it would be great to gift some trans joy back to someone who brings us so much trans joy! The funds from this will go towards gender affirming surgeries, and the associated costs of consultation and recovery.
