Hello, my name is Dawn Farrell and I am  trying to raise money for my amazing friend Kristin. Kristin is currently 24 weeks pregnant. Just days after finding out she was having a baby girl, she got devistating news that she had Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). AML is an aggressive form of cancer that needs to be treated quickly. As one can imagine, this has turned Kristin and her husband Ryan's world upside down. They quickly packed up their belongings and moved from Florida back to New York. Her doctors agreed that it was best for both her and the baby to start chemotherapy immediately. She  will be in the hospital undergoing treatment for about a month. The actual chemo drugs are on a continuous drip for seven full days and the remaining weeks are spent fighting infection.  Kristin and her baby  will be monitored closely. Kristin as well as Ryan are very strong. This is a bump in the road for them, that they will over come! All the money raised will go to help Kristin and Ryan pay for her medical bills.
