PLEASE HELP! UNEXPECTED CRISIS: My dad had an unexpected mishap hunting Saturday, December 8. He was found the next day unconscious beside his truck lying on the ground. He had a stroke, fell on the ground, hit his neck, and fractured bone. Coquille ambulance was called and was on their way to Portland. They could not stabilize him along the way, so he was rerouted to Riverbend hospital. He had a blood clot where he hit and was not responding to the sedation/medication. Once stabilized He got airlifted to OHSU neuro ICU where he remains. He has basic insurance so therefore the airlift is not covered and the cost of ambulance, medication, and other procedures that he's still undergoing and physical therapy, we are down deep in a hole. I am asking and pleading for any kind of monetary help to pay for the bigger expenses such as airlift and ambulance. He's still undergoing medication and therapy $$$. He survived his stroke, but we are now swimming deep underwater financially. Any amount of help will be very much appreciated. God is good, He let him live but we are not out of the woods yet. A little light at the end of the tunnel will help light our way out. Thank you very much for your time and any help you can give. We will remain forever grateful.
