Our Friend Dan
Donation protected
On Wednesday, March 16th, we lost our dear friend and colleague, Daniel Griffin. Daniel died tragically and our hearts are heavy with sorrow and grief. Dan was a very kind soul, he looked after everyone - the big brother to us all. Always with a big smile, he made us laugh with his witty comments. Everyone felt better when Dan was in the room. As was posted at the NWH - MGH Cancer Center. "The world is diminished without him, but we are greater for having known him"
There is nothing we can do to take away the sorrow, pain and loss for those that loved him, but so many have asked to donate that we are setting up this page. The money collected here will help go to his wife and unborn twins.
Dan, we miss you and your smile more than words can say. Here is a poem written by your friend and teammate Lisa Pickett.
Beyond a shadow of a doubt, kindness was what you were all about.
In the deepest part of my soul I will never understand why you had to go.
Tears form in my eyes, for I never really got to say goodbye.
The mind refuses to believe that this is true, what will the days be like without you?
My heart bleeds in a river of gloom, you have left us way to soon.
You sit now with the Angels, with wings you can fly.
I will remember you always, you were one hell of a guy!
I will miss you my dear friend...Until we meet again.
