Hi everyone,
As you probably know, Jamaica was just hit by hurricane "Melissa" one of the strongest in history. Our family home in Montego Bay took a major hit. The roof is mostly gone, parts of the structure are significantly damaged as well as a total loss of much of the contents.

A few kind friends have asked how they could help since we have no insurance! So I’ve set up this page to try and repair the house.

There will be a lot of cleanup and repair ahead and since the house is open to the elements, I need to try and get things under control and start rebuilding as soon as possible.

Jenny’s house is more than just a building. It was lovingly built by our mom and has always been our family's sanctuary. Even before the hurricane, my dream was to not only restore it, but to fulfill our mother's legacy by possibly opening its doors to artists and yogis, offering a peaceful place for them to create and find inspiration here.

I assure you that any funds raised beyond what is needed for these repairs will be used to help our neighbours and others in Jamaica recovering from this disaster.

It has been a difficult few years, with a break-in just before the hurricane damage we sustained last year. The kindness of my friends is not lost on me, I’m very grateful for everyone who’s reached out, checked in on me and my sister, or offered a hand to help.
