Our precious friend Jennifer Benton Marshall has left this world too soon. She will be greatly missed. She was so loved by her family and friends, but her 2 sons will love and miss her the most. This go fund me is specifically for Jordan and Alexander. Her boys were her reason for being and I know she would want her friends to give special support to them, if possible. Jennifer Benton Marshall , 47, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Thursday, January 21, 2021. A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 31, 2021 in Christ Church Cemetery, 2304 Highway 17 North at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel. Jennifer was born March 27, 1973 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of James Benton and Roberta "Jeanie" Dority Benton. A graduate of Wando High School, she earned her Bachelor's degree at USC-Aiken. Jennifer received her Master's degree from Canterbury University. She was a teacher at Moultrie Middle School for 18 years and coached the volleyball team. She also enjoyed coaching travel teams with the Carolina Islanders Volleyball Club. She is survived by her two sons, Jordan Marshall and Alex Marshall both of Mt. Pleasant, SC; father, Jim Benton of Mt. Pleasant, SC; mother, Jeanie Benton; brother, Bryan Benton and his wife Kathleen Benton and nephew Michael all of Jacksonville, FL. She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Carol Little Benton.
