In 2022 my sister Tracy had some CT scans of her Kidney Stone; fortunately, a nodule on her Lung was discovered. This scan led to a pulmonary visit and more tests. That particular nodule did not have cancer but revealed a much larger and malignant tumor in the upper right lung and two lymph nodes also with cancer. Therefore, she has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Cancer. She has been fortunate and blessed that this was discovered as soon as it was and can be treated to become CANCER FREE.

 

Her insurance covers most of her medical expenses. She will be getting treatment for the next two months at John Hopkins Sydney Kimmel Cancer Center in Baltimore, Maryland. She still has some medical bills locally and possibly some facility fees that will not be covered. We seek help from our family and friends to offset some of the following expenses: lodging, parking fees, travel expenses, and basic living costs (monthly bills). She has been unable to work since Mid-April and will be unable to work for several months.

 

My daughter Tracy has faced a medical illness in the past after the passing of Father Ron Clifton. At age 20, she became very ill and was diagnosed with an auto-immune disorder. She overcame the health issues and has lived with this illness for many years. She has been a single parent since her daughter was 8yrs old. She has always found the time to participate and volunteer in her daughters’ activities while dealing with being a Single Parent. She has faced many challenges and hardships throughout her life, and I am confident she will meet this just as strong as she has in the past and become CANCER FREE. My mother single-handedly raised me most of my life and has been my best friend for years. I do not want our time together to be cut short as we still have so much adventuring and life left to share. My mother is a courageous, caring and helpful person. She has done so much for others who have been in need. For many years she has had to struggle financially to raise me and has not yet had the chance to spend money or time on herself as she deserves. My sister has always been there for me no matter the situation, and she has always had my back. She accepts me just the way I am, faults and all. Even though we don't always see eye to eye, I have always wanted the best for her, and I love her just the way she is. My friend Tracy and I have been friends for 30 years. She had a big part in helping me raise my twins when I was a single parent.
