Makayla’s Journey

Hi, I am Angie (Caudillo) Szakatits

I am reaching out to each and everyone of you for your support and prayers! My oldest daughter, Makayla (12 yrs old), who was born with cerebral palsy, will be starting her new journey very soon! She was recently diagnosed with Developmental Hip Dysplasia (The ball of her left femur -thigh bone is considered dislocated from her left hip socket). She will be having surgery on October 26th at a Children’s Hospital in Missouri. This is a big surgery that will last 5 to 6+ hours for the Pediatric Orthopedic surgeons to perform. After surgery, she will be staying for 8+ weeks for post-op healing and intense physical therapy. I will be living in Missouri during this time, so that I can be with Makayla. Our entire family would be so grateful for your thoughts, and prayers for Makayla & for your support with travel expenses, food, family lodging, etc. We believe in the power of prayer, so please send your good vibes, thoughts & prayers our way, as Makayla starts her new journey.
